Quick riddle for you riddlers out there. Expert help wanted!

1: Banish the last
2: double any single
3: Subsitute the Cross for thrice
4: Infer the contrast
5: While patterned maintain
6: let numbers arise

The instructions above are part of a riddle I am working on. They are the decoded instructions, this is as far as I have gotten.

The instructions need to be followed to convert
XYZ01316 into a 7-digit number.

I know for a fact that double any single means change the 1's to 2's, and subsitute the cross for thrice means change the X to a 3.

So, any progress past this would be helpful! (Preferably with a small explanation).

well all i can add to that is take out the last number, the six, and then u got seven numbers/letters.

3434343 is the answer i got.

so yea, drop the six like said before.
numbers arise, so raise them all by 1
infer the contrast, switch the number which doesn't follow the pattern
