Finally i have some new riddles! (that arent weird ones i made up)

Lets see how many you can get, ill put a star next to them if you get them

*1.
What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?

*2.
You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?

*3.
What goes around the world but stays in a corner?

*4.
Give me food, and I will live; give me water, and I will die. What am I?

*5.
No sooner spoken than broken. What is it?

1 is a towel
3 is a stamp
4 is a fire
5 is a secret

I don't know what 2 is..

2, corn you throw away leaves and stuff on the outside, then you cook it and eat the kernals and then throw away the core stuff

could 5 also be silence

Oh yeah, I think silence is a better answer for 5. I agree with Channie.
