If you can hear me you are dead, if you can see me you only see red,
When i am present you feel you are alive, although after your suffereing you will want to die, Some people love me most people hate me, to get to my home it is easy to access the key, you will want to leave but dont runaway, because that would be you last regretful day.

i was confused about how u can hear something when you are dead.
so i take it that this is figurative and not literal

here are my guesses:

a broken heart

the devil
