A man without eyes saw plums in a tree.
He neither took plums nor left plums.
How can this be?

did you happen to read the hint by any chance?
by the way, the man does in fact leave wherever the tree is, so you can't say he stood there and didn't take or leave plums. (\ /)
(0.0) hehehe

he doesnt have eyes, he has an eye
so he sees the plums (2)
so he doesnt take plums he takes a plum and leaves the other
its all about singles and doubles

I saw that exact answer(or pretty exact) to that exact question in a book...

| other possible answers. see can also mean investigate or attend. "im seeing this girl i met last night" Or perhaps he lost his eyes during the time after he saw the plums. i agree with blue rose with the second part about taking 1 plum. unless of course the man saw plums in the tree, but a freak accident caused him to lose his eyes while he was still there. and he is still laying there by the tree with no eyes.
