Riddle of the week:
A man and his dog are going to the park. The man drives, Yet the dog walks, and beats the man there! What is the dog's name?

| Although "Yet" is probably the answer, I've heard a similar riddle in which "What" was the dog's name. I mean, it tells you "What is the dog's name"....

i think its monopoly too. A man and his dog, both a car and a dog are pieces found in an a original monopoly game, are heading to the park, that is park place  . The person controlling the car rolls an 8 and misses park place. The person controlling the dog rolls a 6 and lands on park place. What is the dogs name? Well its the monopoly dog of course!

You ask this when people name their kids things such as Apple?
Another answer: Maybe the question is a trick question to divert us from the fact that, at the park, the dog is beating up the man! ...Sorry, it just sounds so much like that other riddle, I couldn't help it. XP
