A man decides to quit his job, so he turns off the lights, and walks out of the room, and 200 people die. Why do 200 people die

I'm having more trouble with this than I should... Uh, he was a doctor working in a hospital? Or by lights, did you just mean the lights? No machines included?

No, he just turns off the lights. He is not a doctor.

He is an airline pilot. He shuts the lights off and leaves the cockpit and everyone on the plane dies

Yeah that's close enough. The original answer is that he works in a lighthouse. But that's the same thing. Good job!
