I found these riddles in a book and they were so easy they made my eyes cry.
1. I paint the earth with colour bright
I frame my work with gilded light
Both rich and poor I brush will gold
As day runs out I groweth old.
Who am I?
2. Fine rings of magic circle me.
A floating cosmic orb set free.
With solar forces reaching high,
Forever shall I roam the sky.
Who am I?
3.I'm seen by all but none may touch
I'm new but old and wander much.
I'm silver not but silver seem
I'm known for making lovers dream
Who am I?
Oh, and 2 points to whoever can tell me what book they're from!

the first two are pretty easy and quite poetic. not so sure about the third one
1. The sun
2. Saturn
3. sounds like clouds cause daydreamers and lovers alike have their head in the clouds, a cloud is new but clouds are old and certainly are silver at times.... all but one thing, you can touch clouds, isn't fog the altitude deficient person's word for "cloud"

1. I agree here it is pretty clear, it's the sun.
2. I for one didn't think of Saturn, however that fits better and I agree
3. For this one I'm thinking more along the lines of the moon, one it certainly look silver most of the nights it is visible, been around for a long time yet the "new" moon occurs about once a month, certainly makes lovers dream, but the none may touch... Oops, "United States, you get over here! What did I tell you about touching the moon? That's it time out and go sit in the corner there and think of what you've done, you touch the moon again and I swear I'll spank ya!"
Ahem, In short I say the moon. (#3)
