the tenth one is false becuase one of them has to be true and if it is saying it itself is false, then it is telling the truth which contridicts itself

Number nine,

You asked us "Which statement is true?" After that changed post.

Number ten has to be false as if it contradicts itself.

But you asked for a single statement, three out of the four words of this question suggest this.

So, as I trust you DeadMan, I will say it is nine, because if only one is true, then the others are false, and there are at least nine others so it is number 9.

I'd say that 1 - 5 are all true, 6 is incorrect because there are 10 statements and say you pick the 8th one then the 7 before it must also be true but since there must be 8/10 statements true it only leaves 2 statements to be false and it says atleast 8 are false. If you cheack it you'll see that it works for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but not for 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10.

number nine can't be right as if number nine is true than so is 8-1 thus more than one is true.

so for only one statement to be true number one must be the answer
