imagine that you are in a car going 120 mph down the freeway, when suddenly a sharp turn comes into focus. all of the sudden your car locks and you cant open it, the brakes dont work, the gas is stuck, the windows wont break, so basically nothing is working except for the fact your car is going forward and your gonna fall off a cliff. how could you possibly scape this horrible dilemma.
this ones pretty easy, if your having trouble, ill tell you to think outside the box.

| "think outside the box" is cliche and wrong. The real issue in most "think out side the box" is not being completely unconventional and removing all rules. The solution lies in finding the actual box, not the imaged box that we build when we read some problem statement. That is to say, if I answered "Pasta" to the above riddle, I would be thinking outside the box, as I ignore all reasonability. If I answered "Break the window", I'd be out side the box, because I ignored the walls of the problem, the stated rules. If I said "It's a dream, wake up", I'd be within all stated rules and have an acceptable answer, even if the riddle maker doesn't agree.

Put it in reverse. I know, it's in actuality harder than that, but the words use were "your car is going forward and your gonna fall off a cliff" So I say, put it in reverse. Also, you never said that the steering wheel was locked, so potentially just turn, but I would assume that you meant for the steering wheel to be locked.
The "think outside the box" phrase only means to think past the conventional, to not prevent ones mind from using things simply because they were not don before, or are not normally done.
You people are just taking liberties with that. There is a way to think oustide the conventional perspective without leaving reality and escaping to a dream.

| Put the car in neutral? That should be possible, right? Then the engine keeps running at full but you'll start slowing down enough to turn off the road.

| Well, I would turn at the 'sharp turn', it avoids going flying off the cliff...but it wont get you out of the whole delema. So I think I agree, that you just stop imagining.

Ahh... I didn't cath that, look back ot the top, it says "imagine that you are in a car" He never said that you were actually in the car, it's just like the "What Color are the Bus Driver's eyes Riddle?"
However, I like my answer better.

| why would a freeway have a sharp turn and then you fall off a cliff though... most people on freeways drive fast so it would be kinda dumb to put a freeways on a cliff with a sharp turn

In the riddle, the point was made that the doors, locks, etc were "locked"
However, when speaking of the window it was said that it wouldnt "break"
So can I assume that you could get out by "rolling" down the window?

| Well, its pretty obvious, it doesn't say that the sharp turn is in the lane that the car is speeding down. And to "escape" the horrible dilemna as many people have already said stop imagining OR imagine a giant plush toy that would safely stop your car in its tracks.

Car locks are basically very similar to that of a standard mechanism lock. However, the car keys are also used for the ignition. Most of the cars using a cylindrical block, which is able to provide only basic protection during the day. However, an expert thief can easily break the security system at night, and this car is in great danger. This is why most car owners have chosen the alarm system is installed in the machine. Even a small manipulations of the goalkeeper could trigger alarms

Most locksmiths who specialize in being available on a 24 hours and find a very profitable specialization, because there are many locksmiths who are willing to work around the clock. Salaries are good, mainly because of an emergency in connection with the most services. Choose a lock would probably take a few minutes to an expert locksmith, and you get paid with relief that the customer feels. Picking and breaking in required great skill that can be acquired through years of training.

The services provided by an auto locksmith is generally limited to roadside assistance to motorists who have accidentally locked out of his vehicle. After an hour spent with a hanger frustrating trying to open the door and drivers often give way to call a locksmith to open the car.
