Umm... well duh! Nutmeg is a solid, most things solid are not ment to be in your bloodstream.
Best case scenario with such an event you get an infection which your body fights off. Worst case scenario, the substance is poisonous, or too much of a nonpoisonous powder is injected and it cloggs your blood stream causing limbs still attatched to potentially die. If injected into a vein, the powder will (if it moves within your bloodstream) reach your heart, NOT EVER a good thing. What would happen then is similar as to what happens when air is injected into your bloodstream, death!
The lesson kids, is DON'T PLAY WITH HYPODERMIC NEEDLES!!!!!!
