ok, this is my 200th post there for i am going to make it a good riddle. A hard one.
Ok,you are walking is a forest. There are three trees. They all look exactly the same, except one of the trees have a leave at te top that is an inch bigger then the other two. You can only climb one tree to figure it out. You do not have binoculars so you can't see the other trees from the top of one.
How do you tell which one is different?
How about that for a 200th post. It'll take another 200 for you to get it, unless you've heard it before or are a some kindda genius.

| Does this involve a play on words? Else can you sit waiting until Autumn arrives and then the leaves will fall.

You look for the tree with a humongous leaf.
"One has a leaf that is one inch bigger than the other two"
The leaf is one inch bigger than the other two trees.

Wow...This is a tough one...
I'm guessing that any sort of hint would be a dead giveaway right?
hmmm... That was an ineresing response to ory's question, not general or specific. I may very well be reading too far into this but are they actually trees? Or just symbols of some other treelike structure such as the three "branches of American government. Perhaps these trees are countries, and the one with the bigger leaf has the slighter advantage. So, wage war between two of the countries and depending on the outcome you find out the big leaf tree.
If the one you picked wins it's that tree, if your oppent wins it is your opponent's tree, if both tie in a terrible terrible far too long war then it's the other tree that is now conquering the globe.
More literally, I like the wait for Autumn idea, either that or a chainsaw, yeah, just cut down the trees and check them after.
Have I gone too far off?

just need some things cleared up, are there any other trees in the forest?
does an inch bigger mean that it is longer, wider... thicker? does this leaf make the tree itself an inch taller compared to the other 2 trees or leaves?
im gonna guess any way
climb any of the three trees, if u see an abnormally inch bigger leaf u are very lucky.
if not then rip off ur shirt and tie it around the top of the tree, now u know exactly which tree is different because none of the other trees have shirts tied around them, nor have any of the other trees been climbed. [/quote]

If all the trees are the same except one with a leaf, you would simply look at the top of the tree and the only tree with a leaf would be the one.
You did not specify that there were other leaves on the tree's so I am assuming that the tree's do not have leaves except the one with the leaf.
Am I way off here?

Hmm,
Is it safe to assume that all trees have at least one leaf in the exact same position and on one of them the leaf is an inch bigger?
